About Joe

The name’s Joe Hager. Nice to meet you finally. I’m here to create a blog which will act as a sort of mind dump for everything that I’m currently ruminating on. I’m a big ruminator. You’ll read about the sorts of things I’m interested in, and let me warn you the list is long. Expect the sleaziest flavors of vitriol when it comes to things that frustrate me, like the US Congress and skim milk. Also expect unreasonably overblown adoration of the things I love, like public radio and Reese’s peanut butter cups. I assume you’ll agree wholeheartedly with most of the things I write, and if that’s the case please don’t hesitate to let me know. I suppose you also may disagree, at rare times, maybe, and if that’s the case please hesitate all you want. But you can still let me know.

I’ll be focusing on my primary interests like creative writing, literature, politics, theology, culture, history, education, and technology. For years I wrote editorials for my college newspaper (UWRF Student Voice) so I’ll undoubtedly try to swoon you with my fancy opinions. I also like to inform, so just be prepared to learn something too, if you don’t mind. I’ll get out of the way now and let my blog do the speaking.
